At the beginning of the program describe how you felt about your body, health, and shape in 2-3 paragraphs:
At the start of the program I used to hate looking at myself in the mirror. I was incredibly unhappy with my body and had no confidence at all. I felt big, out of shape and self-conscious.
This made me dread any social events, work events, gym etc. because I would be so anxious over what I was going to wear and how I would look. I spent so much time and energy worrying about how I looked that it distracted me from what was more important.
I have a stressful job that is incredibly demanding and it is important to be on my A game, so spending all my time thinking people are judging me negatively because of my image was draining!
Turns out I had some bad past experiences that I have been carrying that I had linked with body image. I had lost all confidence and always doubted myself in all situations which was especially hard with work and training.
Describe how you feel now at the end of the program:
I can’t believe how different I feel after 12 weeks, I feel like a different person!
I'm positive everyday, I embrace new challenges, I feel energised and confident.
This has had a huge positive impact on both my professional life and my personal relationships.
What would you say to someone ‘on the fence’ about working with me:
DO it DO it DO IT!!!
My regret was not doing it sooner, I spent so much time (and money) training and trying to out train my poor eating or buying materialistic things none of which have made me as happy as this.
Any previous success I had previously had, I soon self sabotaged. Which led to guild and shame. I now feel empowered and am finally comfortable with my size, shape and ultimately myself.
Back in October I decided that I needed to take some action on my health. Sat at a desk for a long period of time combined with eating at times quite unhealthily meant I had gained weight and was at the heaviest I had ever been.
I had been linked in with Lee Owen for a few months and seen his posts on fitness coaching and got in touch with him.
I’ve just finished Lee’s 12 week programme and I am close now to having lost 2 stone in that time. But the programme has changed how I see food and how I want to see myself going forwards. I have more weight to lose but importantly I have made changes that mean the weight loss, and hopefully continued weight loss is sustainable. I also don’t feel like I’ve been on a diet particularly.
The programme has been wide ranging in what it has covered, it wasn’t what I was expecting in some ways.
I wanted to share this because I know I am connected to a lot of people who have very busy lives and stressful jobs who might have the same challenge around this sort of stuff that I have. I’m happy to give more detail or intro Lee to anyone who feels they were in a similar position to me.

At the beginning of the program describe how you felt about your body, health, and shape in 2-3 paragraphs:
At the start of this program I hated looking at myself in the mirror I was struggling with mental health issues that I felt were linked to the way I looked I felt like I wasn’t good enough for anything I was worried that my wife was going to leave me for some one better looking and I wasn’t going to be a good dad because I was so worried about others judgement of me that it would stop be doing certain things like swimming. I had absolutely no self confidence and just wanted to hide away all the time.
I continuously felt lethargic and lazy and could never be bothered to do anything I was worried about my health, but I was on a downward spiral of takeaways and self-pity a cycle that seemed impossible to break. I felt like I was on the verge of a breakdown.
I hated the shape of my body the double chins the love handles and the jiggly bits and I just couldn’t see a way out of it I tried different diets and lost weight than as soon as I stopped I put the weight back on again it seemed impossible.
Describe how you feel now at the end of the program:
Now at the end of the program I feel like a totally new man I feel confident I’m happy with my reflection and I feel energized and healthy I no longer feel like I am struggling with mental health issues I feel like an amazing role model for my daughter and a fantastic husband to my wife I no longer feel like I need to hide away like I am some kind of beast.
My lifestyle has completely changed ive learnt to see the positives in all situations I no longer hate myself for having that takeaway as I now know how to have it in moderation and that I can exercise harder for a few days after and eat the right food the rest of the time and its fine.
What were your biggest challenges inside the program?
I would say the biggest challenge for me was having a baby at week 8 of the program as I work 2 jobs, I was already struggling to find time to exercise. So, adding a newborn into the mix was defiantly a challenge.
I also struggled with snacking and cravings.
How did you overcome them?
The simple answer to this is Lee before I would have just said oh well, I don’t have time to train and cook healthy meals so will just eat crap food and get bigger and unhealthier.
But lee helped me with ways to stop the cravings witch helped stop the snacking and he also helped me realize that I didn’t need to spend hours a day in the gym and with a bit of forward planning and give and take with my wife I am still able to get 4 to 5 good meaningful workouts in a week.
What would you say to someone thinking of working with me?
DO IT DO IT DO IT!!! working with lee is without doubt a massive turning point in my life I have always been someone who puts weight on easily and finds it hard to lose it but lee has taught me how to live a healthier life that most importantly is sustainable. I have always found the negatives in all situations and lee helped me to see that actually there is positive wins in every situation to I have always been so hard on myself and struggled with insecurity’s and mental health issues I’ve never felt good enough and always been worried about my partner cheating on me or leaving me I’ve had various forms of therapy in the past for this some working well while others did nothing but on completion of this program I no longer feel the way I did I no longer feel like I struggle with mental health, I no longer hate myself I no longer run from social situations and that’s thanks to lee. This program for me has been so much more that a weight loss program in fact by the end of it its like the weight loss was just a bonus compared to the lifestyle changes I’ve made. While working with lee I felt like I could be open and honest the whole way through and there was never one ounce of negativity or judgement from lee. He has a vast amount of knowledge and always me find my own answers to things so as not to fill me with his own opinions a rare talent if you ask me.
Lee you are amazing thank you for everything you have done for me during this time I strongly recommend anyone thinking of doing this program to stop thinking about it and just do it I promise you it will change your life for the better as it has mine.

At the beginning of the program describe how you felt about your body, health, and shape in 2-3 paragraphs:
Felt extremely overweight, carrying too much timber in the wrong areas, my fitness was very poor, as was my health, due to a lack of poor diet and poor routine. I didn’t have much confidence in my appearance, which affected my everyday life more than I was willing to admit before i spoke with Lee.
Describe how you feel now at the end of the program:
Great / refreshed / proud / energised
I didn’t think it would be possible to shift as much weight as I did in 12 weeks, but also really enjoyed the the whole program, something I wasn’t sure I would at first. My body has a had a big change and I feel and look so much better for it aswell as gaining more strength with better fitness levels.
I feel i have full control of my lifestyle again and that i will continue my success, no worries about the weight going back on as i haven't felt on a diet.
Hugely satisfied that im now back in control
What were your biggest challenges inside the program?
I knew before the program that time would be my biggest challenge as a business oner and father of 2 young children. However, i seem to have more time after adapting to better habits. I think the other challenge was listening to Lee about not feeling guilty if i had food that i would label as ‘bad’. This isn't a 12 week fad. Whereas plans ive tried before you would almost be told off if you had something other than a chicken salad!
How did you overcome them?
Preparation. Easy, non time consuming meal prep, schedule some exercise slots in the diary ( just a couple of 30 mins to start with) discussing and agreeing small, manageable targets with Lee.
What would you say to someone thinking of working with me?
100% do it!! Theres never going to be an appropriate time, but just commit to it, it’s a life changing program. The results are insane.
Lee knows his stuff its not just beasting you in a gym (there is a bit of that) but his knowledge of fitness and health is incredible but he also understands what life and lifestyles are really about.
